Fit for the future thanks to innovation

The Bruno Bock Group, a leading producer of organosulfur specialty chemicals, opened an Innovation Center at its plant in Marschacht on 5 May 2022. State-of-the-art laboratories and offices covering some 800 m² have been built for research, development and application technology. This will ensure that the Bruno Bock Group can respond quickly and precisely to changes in the needs of customers and markets. In addition to the laboratory space, a technical centre has been set up to optimise the development methods for later production in industrial-scale facilities.

At the inauguration ceremony CEO Stefan Wickmann said, “This strategic milestone in the history of our company supports the development of product innovations, new technologies and applications at the highest level. As a leading provider of specialty organosulfur chemicals, with a focus on technically demanding applications, we are laying the groundwork today for the long-term viability of our company. We are also delighted that this step enables us to offer more apprenticeships and jobs in the region.”

Energy efficiency and the careful use of resources were a high priority when the building was being converted, which included the installation of a condensing boiler, a ventilation system with energy recovery and a process cooling system.
